• The data is stored in a geodatabase which links all the data types by location. It keeps its original spreadsheet form but allows for cross-referencing through a relational database.
• All public data will be kept available and downloadable. However, data sets wished to be kept confident and under higher security will be hidden. Other fields within the database will document the level of confidence and trust in the data source so that accuracy in the data sets are maintained.
• Check back soon for a link to download data!!!

• Actual sightings/ transects. Surveys are entered and stored in the geodatabase. Examples include surveys for Fish: CRAMP , WHAP , QUEST , DAR and Algae: Bishop and Botany.
• Models of distribution. Some of the data came with polygons and large models of where species or habitats should be found: Ecological Sensitivity Index (ESI)
• Maps. Actual locations of habitats: NOAA benthic habitat maps, State GIS site, Personal information, Hawaiian Kupuna references.

Final Report for Year 3

• Marine GAP received three years of funding through the Division of Aquatic Resources, ending in April 2005. The final report is attached below as MarineGAP_Yr3.pdf. A readme.doc file explains the purpose of the document and directs the reader through the associated folders and analysis cited in the report.
• If downloading this information, please request permission from the author/webmaster first. All figures within the document can be made available in .tif and .pdf forms upon request.
• The first zip file contains ArcView 9.0 GIS files used in the Marxan Analysis and the 2nd are the results as outputted from Marxan. Please read the report and supporting documents for more information.
